Just checked out the Dave Matthews track on the new Blue Man Group CD. I know, it's been out for ahwile, but up to now I've only listened to MP3s. The track is incredible, very cool blues groove, one can only hope Dave might play it live this summer. As for the whole album, it's good, not great, but good. Some tracks are amazing, especially "I Feel Love featuring Venus Hum." Some of the others sound like they're a soundtrack to a Vegas show. All in all though, I'd suggest buying it.

I just found a rellintresting article on ticket sales through fan clubs. not the whole answer behind the Warehouse decisonon seat assingment, but intresting insights. Check it out Online Ticket sales/MSNBC.

The rumors abound about ticketing. The most recent reports are that the Warehouse will not notify people of their seats assignments prior to shipping tickets. Further they have claimed that the tickets will not be shipped untill 7-days before the show's date. Some members of the warehouse contimue to be rather pissed, some tot he point of considering a class action suit.

While I'd like to know my seats today, I can't say I support a class action suit right now. That's seems a bit much.

First things first, a special welcome to all my fellow Warehouse members, espeically those fromt he forums. I don't post a ton there, but I'm there everyday. A topic of much debate lately has been the whole tricket/seat location thing for this comming tour. I understand and commend the Warehouse for attempting to deal with scalpers. To that end they have decided to not relase seating information to people who have purchased tickets for the summer tour through the Warehouse. While I see what they are trying to do, I think it is rather pointless to keep withholding that information, especially now that the public sale has completed. I would very much like to know where my seats are. Do I need to know right now? Maybe not, but I feel it is my right. I've paid for something (yes the credit card was billed) and now I'd like to know what I've paid for. At the very least, let us know when we will be informed of our seat locations.

Hi and welcome to DMBlog. I'm not sure how this will take shape, but the idea is to post my thoughts and information about the Dave Matthews Band. I'm not neccesarily a mega fan, but I've followed them pretty closely since 94, and have been to — well I don't really know how many shows in Minneapolis, Alpine Valley and Chicago. So hold on tight and lets see what happens. I'll be adding some links to relevant DMB sites, maybe some download locations and trying to keep intresting news here. Thanks for comming.
